Both injuries have already been reported over the last few weeks. But just for confirmation (and the fact that it’s a slow news day), both Fernando Gonzalez and Zheng Jie have been forced to withdraw from all remaining tournaments in 2010. The horrible news is that both will have to undergo surgery for their injuries, with Gonzalez out for at least 9 months for hip surgery and possibly knee surgery too. Zheng is hoping to be back between 3 and 6 months after having wrist surgery next month.
